About Me

With over 10 years of experience in epidemiology research, data science, software engineering, and informatics, I am passionate about advancing health by making data more accessible and useful.

I am currently the Group Leader of Digital Public Health at MITRE, where I lead a team of researchers and engineers who develop innovative solutions to public health challenges.

My recent work includes SMART Health Cards (QR codes for vaccine records on Android and iOS; used by millions of people in the US and internationally), and FHIR for Research (educational materials for using health data standards in research).

My PhD is from the epidemiology program at University of Maryland Baltimore. I attended Duke University for undergrad.
