💖 OS X and Keyboard Shortcuts 💖
One of the many reasons I love OS X on my Mac is this system-wide preferences panel:

This allows you to customize keyboard shortcuts for any application. All you need is the name of the menu item – in this case • for Scrivener. This is a simple way for getting really great interface customization with surprising power.1
It’s a testament to the thoughtful, clever work that went into OS X.
