macOS Window Management

Every Mac user should at least try out some window management software. This allows you to quickly have a window take up the left or right half of the screen (or do many other more complex things). It makes multitasking substantially easier.

If you already use Keyboard Maestro, you can easily set up macros to move windows around without separate software.
At a minimum, I recommend setting up a keyboard shortcut to move and resize the front window to the left half or the right half of the screen. I use command-option-control-left and -right to do this on my computer.
